Weekly notices – Sunday 13 November

Rectors reflection: Announcements!

I am sad to inform you that our Organist Christopher Black will be leaving us to gain more experience and develop as a church organist at St Margaret’s, Gallowgate. He will begin training Alex Kither who is also one of Roger Williams’ organ students. Chris was dedicated to the position and it was wonderful to watch him grow more familiar with the Anglican service. We wish him well at St Margaret’s and in his future as a church organist.

The Vestry voted to hire a part-time Ministry Assistant. We welcome Austen Barraclough, a candidate for a Master of Theology degree at the University of Aberdeen. The office will now be open between 2-4pm on Mondays and 12-2pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It will be tremendous help to have someone take over the administrative tasks of St Mary’s as well as assist me in reaching out to our local community.

  • Sunday 20 November:
