St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral

As Bishop of the United Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney, I am pleased to make St Mary’s my spiritual home for the next period of my episcopal ministry.

In serving as acting pro-cathedral, St Mary’s offers me a place from which I can teach and send out ministers of the gospel. It is increasingly becoming a house of prayer for me, to which all of the diocese will be welcome once the current coronavirus restrictions are lifted.
