Fr Terry and Fr Roger would like to thank all who took part in the Lent Group ‘Encountering Jesus’. The five evenings were quite varied with a different number of participants every time and a fresh Bible passage each week giving rise to this changing feel. And yet some common threads held the sessions together. We were obviously cautious about Covid but we did enjoy being able to be in a group with others once more. We tried to listen for God’s voice through scripture and each other. It was a privilege to listen to others as they shared from their lives what they thought God was saying to them. And every week, without fail, there was great cake!
