We’ve been contacted by a Frenchman, Lt. Col. Xavier de Bisschop, recording his grandmother’s happy memories of staying with her great uncle in Aberdeen – her great uncle was our rector, Canon Francis William Christie, whom our altar rail commemorates. He has sent us some photographs to add to our collections, along with his very warmest wishes! The last photo shows him with his mother, Canon Christie’s great, great niece, and his sister Caroline.
