The scaffolding is back! But this time it’s more maintenance than repair, thanks to our generous funders, the Provincial Building Grants Fund, the Anderson Trust, and the Viridor Credits Environmental Company.
Unfortunately the scaffolding was barely up when a storm struck and one of our rose windows was badly damaged. This has now been removed for repair in Alford, so there is scaffolding inside and out for now!
Work is proceeding as planned in the Choir Vestry – we have new lighting, which should be more adaptable for different uses and events as well as being more sustainable, and a new floor surface should be fitted soon with a view to good acoustics for social events and the comfort of our Pilates friends!
The top two most popular designs (according to the congregational survey) for our garden design have now been sent to landscape gardeners for estimates. It’s hoped that as the weather improves work can begin on this project.
