A very warm welcome to all
Psalm 4: “In peace I will lie down and sleep.”
The Third Sunday of Easter
Readings: Acts 3: 12-19; 1 John 3: 1-7
Gospel: Luke 24: 36b-48
In our Gospel today
It’s no coincidence that one of the first things he did after revealing himself to the disciples was to ask for food. It not only reminds us of his human nature but that the relationship between him and the disciples was reciprocal; he relied on them to spread his gospel message as much as they relied on him to share it with them. Another way of looking at it is that we need the message of Christ to give us the power, the inspiration to be his hands and feet in the world. In this Easter season, we are not only reminded of the living Jesus at the centre of our lives, but also his desire for us to live out his message in our daily lives.

There will be an Italian Night on Friday 19th April at 7pm. This will be a fundraising event with some nice Italian style foods. To gauge numbers attending on the evening there are sign-up sheets at the back of church and also in the Choir Vestry. Please bring along your own drinks. Donations will be taken on the night. Buon Appetito!

Your thoughts on our Magazine?
What did you think of the Easter Magazine? The Communications Group would still like to canvas the congregations thoughts about our Magazine, which is currently published on a quarterly basis. Is this the best frequency for everyone? Is there anything else that you would like to see in it? Please provide your feedback to the editor, Nicola Mills, or anyone on the Vestry.
Would you like some tomato plants?
Tomato plants for sale! Are you a green fingered gardener or someone who likes a couple of small tomato plants on the kitchen windowsill? Please look out for our tomato plant sales later this month and in early May. Plants will be available for purchase after the Sunday services.
