Worship at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral

Worship

St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral has an active worship schedule with regular services. We look forward to offering a warm welcome to all who are able to join us.

The church is usually open around 30 minutes before the start of any service for people who wish to use the space for quiet reflection. Changes to our worship schedule do occasionally take place, and we often hold additional services to mark Church Festivals. Please check our calendar, or contact the office for details of any changes or additional services.

Services

Services

St Mary’s currently offers three regular Eucharistic services in any given week.

The Scottish Episcopal Church offers a varied and extremely wide range of worship material. The three main liturgies currently in use are the 1929 Scottish Prayer Book, the 1970 Liturgy and the Scottish Liturgy of 1982.

Lunchtime Fellowship

Lunchtime Fellowship

This service is held at 12:30pm on the last Tuesday of each month, apart from December when it is usually held earlier to avoid the week of Christmas.
