Revd Roger Dyer will be leading a mid-week informal group to read the Bible, pray together and seek to encourage one another in our Christian lives. The meetings will take place in the Crypt at St Mary’s (in the side door, through the kitchen and down the stairs). There will be an initial run of seven weeks from 16th May to the end of June. Thereafter, the plan would be to review the time, day, and place to see if it is working.
The focus for these first seven weeks would be Meeting Jesus (in the Bible, in prayer, in the sacraments, in the poor) and Serving Jesus (in the Spirit, in the church, in the world). We’ll aim for an hour. Longer for those who wish to stay for refreshments. Come to one. Come to them all. All welcome wherever we feel we might be on our spiritual journey.
